My cousin was Johnny G Santora, Jr, but he was more like my big brother. Lived with us and enlisted from our hometown. We lost him nearly 28 years ago in a helicopter crash, one day before he was retiring and coming home. I miss him so much and still search for info on him. I found this sight tonight after googling his name. Tears of sadness and joy. There are even pictures of him here! Thank you so much for this website. God Bless all of you.

My grand father was csm Roberto "Moe" Canales. I have known him to be a great man but never had the chance to find out anything he was involved in due to the nature of what he did. I have always wondered what he did and known I shouldn't ask but curiosity has finally gotten the best of me

My Father served with this Unit. I have recently been given this information from my Father "Sacramento" SSGT Johnnie L. Hudson as he is referred to on his plaque . He also just past on his B-52 Project Delta belongings to me. I am just needing to talk with someone to help me gain some more information about what my dad did since he has not fully opened up but has shared a little. Can you help? With great sadness I must report the passing of my cousin, Master Sergeant Maurice L. Brakeman, USA (ret) Maurice served with B-52 Project Delta. Maurice passed away at Eastport, ID today, 28 Jun 2011. I respected him greatly and I shall miss him.

Looking for the SF guy who visited Marble Mountain base in early 1968. He was from Santa Monica and may have been attached at one time to Delta. We had a great conversation (I was USMC) and I fear he may have been one of the SF personnel killed in August 68 by sappers who attacked the SF base down the road from the air facility.
